A co-worker gave me Christine Feehan's Dark Prince. I haven't read it yet. The jury's still out on vampires -- which is funny, since I loved ANGEL and I've enjoyed what I've seen of MOONLIGHT. I'm partial to shape-shifters, it seems (and I'm not just saying that ;-)). I suppose if Ms. Feehan's Carpathians don't work out for me, something else of might. She writes Regency set historicals. Coincidentally she and Christina Merrill are both friends of mine and I've read both their books. If you like CM, I think you'll like KC too. :) Oh, and Kristina Cook has some books coming out under Kristi Astor too. I also recommend Chris Marie Green. She has an urban fantasy vampire series going. I haven't read it, but I liked her books for Bombshell. She's still writing romances for Harlequin too--but that might be under Crystal... Good Luck!!
