I did it again. I tanked my blog. Again. I was almost done with all the fixes from when I did it the first time. And to add insult to injury, it was a plug-in that I was attempting to install, for the purpose of backing up the data, that did it. I know because when I finally got the new version of WordPress installed, and loaded the only backup I had, I reactivated the plug-in and it gave me a fatal error message. ARGH!!
Once again, I’m glad that I subscribe to both my own posts and comment feeds. I will eventually get everything re-posted, like I did the first time. *sigh* It’s going to distract me during the Read-a-Thon.
I’m sooo close to chucking the self-hosted thing and going back to WordPress.com.
