~ & ~

You’ll noticed that I chose to commit to less 1st in Series books than 2nd in a Series books. This year, I didn’t read as many second books as I wanted. As a result, I’m that much more behind. Initially, I was only going to commit to 3 books for the 1st in the Series challenge, but I have a feeling it will be closer to six, based on other challenges.  If I do really well, it might even be more than six, but not close to 12.

As for the 2nd in the Series, my tentative list is between 15 and 20 books, and the it’s more eclectic: cozy mysteries, stand-alone contemporaries, and the usual suspects, paranormal and urban fantasy.  The Off the Shelf challenge is one reason I felt I could commit to a higher number of book.  I don’t think I can read 20 2nd in a Series, due to the fact there are many books in 2011 that I’m looking forward to, and that will cut into the number of older books I want to read.

EDIT TO ADD: As usual, I will track my progress here.
