This is a scheduled post.
Teaser Tuesdays asks you to:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page. You also need to share the name of the author and the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!
The teaser:
“But, yes. Bubble wrap’s a wonderful thing” said the salesman. “Invented by the Americans, of course. Apparently they were trying to make wallpaper.”
— from page 71, Her Singapore Fling (Kelly Hunter)
Why I picked this book: This is the last book about the five Bennett siblings. Every book has had a bit of quirky humor and funny moments. I’m sad to see it end.
Nice teaser! This sounds like an entertaining read.
I love the wintery look to your banner, by the way. So pretty! 🙂

Thank you! I thought it was, too. 😀
Thanks for stopping by!
Have to wonder if there is any truth to that… lol
Yep. According to Wikipedia — two engineers in the late 1950’s fused/melted/stuck together two plastic shower curtains, which created little air pockets. They were trying to invent a plastic wallpaper.
Kelly Hunter’s bio states she was “accidentally educated in the sciences”, so she either came across it in her studies or she googled it. 😉
