Right off, he’s attracted to her, not knowing she’s what he’s been looking for. As soon as he realizes that, he knows she’s off-limits to him.

Comments: I really liked Ty, though I wanted to shake him at one point. The Cait Sith have been downtrodden for so long, Ty is afraid to do anything that would cause the rest of his people to suffer should he anger the queen. He’s determined to bring Lily to the Ptolemy court, despite the danger, in the hopes that he can appease the queen and still keep Lily safe.

I really loved this book and wish I’d read it sooner. I like the dynasty setup and look forward to seeing more of the others.
