The 1st in the Tea Shop Mystery series.

Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs When a man is poisoned by tea, Theo is the prime suspect. Now she has to prove her innocence and track down the real killer-before someone else takes their last sip.

1st in the Tea Shop Mystery series.
Author: Laura Childs
ISBN: 0-425-17945-1 (Berkley)
Finished: 27 April 2006
Who: Theodosia Browning

Charming. A bit slow, but the cast is likable and friendly. There was no way to know or guess the identity of the killer. Theodosia was chasing the wrong motive. I like the subtle romance that’s probably going to develop between Jory Davis, an attorney in Theo’s father’s old law firm, and Theo. I will read the rest of this series for this reason. I also liked given the cast pronouced Southern accents. Some of the dialog would have sounded absurd without them.

Enjoyed it!
