Harlequin-Silhouette Challenge

Thanks to Yvonne for hosting this challenge.

Books in RED are on more than one list/alternate list:

  • Wife For a Week (Kelly Hunter) {30 Jun 08} (REVIEW) (Harlequin Presents)
  • Texas Ransom (Amanda Stevens) {6 Jul 08} (REVIEW) (Harlequin Intrigue)
  • My Fair Gentleman (Jan Freed) {18 Aug 08} (REVIEW) (Harlequin Superromance)
  • The Tycoon’s Princess Bride (Natasha Oakley) {23 Jul 08} (REVIEW) (Harlequin Presents)
  • Royal Lockdown (Rebecca York) {28 Aug 08} (REVIEW) (Harlequin Intrigue)

I chose to join this challenge, even though I was already reading Harlequin imprints for the reading challenge on the official Harlequin website, because it would be a double incentive — complete an easy challenge and boost the number of imprints I’ve read this year (the challenge on the official site asked that at least half the books you read be from one of their imprints — not that they kick you off or anything if you don’t).

I plan to read other books in these lines, obviously.  I would like to read a few more Silhouette Nocturnes and Harlequin Historicals before the end of the year.

It’s hard to decide which was my favorite.  Ms. Hunter, Ms. Freed, and Ms. Oakley all wrote books that really hooked me.

  1. Congrats to completing the challenge! I’m going to start another one in January and this one will last the whole year. So, there will be a bit more books to read.

In answer to your question on my blog, yes of course, please feel free to post your links for any reviews you still do for the series book. Even though I completed the challenge, I’m going to continue the reviews.

    Thanks for participating!
