Read several books that I’ve had for some time, or were older (like Georgette Heyer). If I continue this trend, I will reach my goal of 20,000 points long before the end of the year. I’m beginning to think that I should have switch the page number goal and the points goal. Based on what I’ve already read in March (as of this writing) I could end the month with at least another 2,500 points, which would bring the total for the year, so far, over 9,000 points. If I’m lucky, I could end the month with 10,000 for the years so far — and that’s half way to goal with nine months left!
I foresee me not making the page total goal, as most of the books I’ve been reading tend to be less than 400 pages. To make goal, I would need to read between 2,500 – 3,000 pages a month. Ideally, I should have read, so far, at least 5,000 – 6,000 pages by the end of February. Instead, my page total for the year so far is 4,698.
