Notes: Um. Ok. I’ve passed my page goal and I’ve met my number of books goal. And if I read just an hour and a half more, I’ll meet my time goal. So, now I need some new goals.
The History of the Pink Carnation is 426 pages. If I complete it this weekend, it will double my page goal. So I’m going to use my default goals for read-a-thons for my new goals for this weekend: 850 pages, 24 hours, 3 books.
I deviated slightly from my list of books. I finished Night Reigns so early in the day that I thought I might have time to read another book that would count toward the Summer edition of the Seasonal Reading Challenge, which ended at midnight. I looked for something short (under 300 pages) that still fit one of the tasks — the other books on my list are already slotted for the Fall challenge. A cozy mystery fit what I needed and I’m happy to say that I finished it in time to claim 20 more points for that challenge.
All in all, a very good reading day. 😀
