What: 2013 Seriously Series Reading Challenge
When: 1 January – 31 December 2013
Who: Reading the Paranormal & On a Book Bender
Rules:  The goal is to catch up on as many series as you want by the end of the year.  The hostesses made the challenge very flexible. Go here to see the guidelines and sign up.

Despite the fact I have many series that I’m trying to read (having arrived late to the game), I’m only tackling three for this challenge.

SEMI-SERIOUS (3 series, all started prior to 2013)

The main series I want to focus on is Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed. Edge of Dawn (Book 11) will be published, hardcover, in February. Since I’m waiting for the paperback release, this will give me time to read the five previous books and one novella before the PB release date. Assuming the paperback comes out Feb 2014. If the release date for the paperback is late 2013. . .depending how late. . .I’ll add it to the list. Seems only fair — if it comes out in October or November, there’s still time to read it.

• Taken by Midnight (Midnight Breed 8)
• Deeper than Midnight (Midnight Breed 9)
• A Taste of Midnight (Midnight Breed 9.5)
• Darker After Midnight (Midnight Breed 10)

Jessica Andersen’s Final Prophecy/Nightkeepers, to finish the series:

• Spellfire (Nightkeepers 8)

Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling. This series has transitioned into hardcover. However, I’ve grown to love it, so I’ll be getting the next book in June.  Also, I don’t want to come across a spoiler while waiting for the paperback release! 😀

• “Whisper of Sin” (#8.5), Burning Up (anthology)
• Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling 11)
• Wild Invitation (anthology of Psy-Changeling novellas) (due March 2013)
• Super-Secret Title (Psy-Changeling 12) (due June 2013)
